Host a Cookie Decorating Party with Dollar General

This post brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine. Sometimes party planning can cost a pretty penny! I love hosting parties, but this time of year is expensive all around. Jess and I were super excited when Dollar General challenged us to create a fun Christmas party using Dollar General Holiday décor items. For only $20 we prepared an adorable Christmas Cookie Decorating Party.

We were thrilled with the selection of boxes, toppers, fun utensils, and little decorations we found at Dollar General. We had totally planned to DIY something from the store, but everything was too cute to mess with!

We set up the table with individual little work stations for each kiddo. Since Jess and I love raw cookie dough, we're sure to give each kid just a bit to taste!

I love these decorative straws and they looked perfect in a mason jar of milk

We found these adorable little shakers and filled them with sprinkles

After the cookies were all decorated, we had these fun little boxes for everyone to take their cookies home in.

So, if you're looking for a fun and inexpensive way to host a party this Christmas season, we'd totally recommend that you check out Dollar General- we never would have been able to decorate an entire party for under $20 if we were shopping somewhere else.
